In Memoriam
Lorraine Lee 1956-2007
It is with great sorrow that CPLC announces the passing of our Executive Vice President Lorraine Lee on October 31, 2007. For more than 25 years Lorraine was a resounding voice in the efforts to empower the disenfranchised. She was a community leader and social activist who made it her life’s work to champion the cause of the poor and disenfranchised. Lorraine will be remembered for her brilliant mind, her generous and kind heart, and her passion for social advocacy. We honor her example, the standards and expectations she held for all of us, and will carry her in our hearts as we work to realize the mission.
