La Causa Advocacy Program

The La Causa Advocacy Program (LACAP) consists of a variety of civic and political engagement projects such as voter education/registration, Get Out The Vote, and voter protection. In addition, LACAP also coordinates CPLC Tucson’s participation in the various federal and local legislative issues affecting our community. The La Causa Advocacy Program is coordinated by an Advocate/Fellow, guided by the Advocacy Committee and partners Democracía U.S.A.

Democracía U.S.A. Partnership

Democracia U.S.A. is a non-partisan national Hispanic civic engagement program of People for the American Way Foundation that seeks to increase the prominence and participation of Hispanics in the American political process. Democracia-USA is a national non-partisan, non-profit Latino civic engagement program that seeks to increase the prominence and participation of Latinos in the American democratic process through empowerment and civic participation.
